RMS Version 8.02A Program Changes on the February 2016 Update
The monthly update disc you receive from BSMGR for RMS contains a current copy of the Christian Books & More® database, new images, music samples and program changes. Remember to run IVDC after installing your update to reflect retail prices changes for your store’s inventory items. When that program completes, you can use IVL to print labels with the new prices.
As a reminder, each month’s update disc also includes a folder titled “Manual” that contains the current RMS manual. The file is in Microsoft Word format, and there is a free Word viewer program in the folder in case you don’t have a copy of Microsoft Word installed on your computer. For your convenience, the RMS program changes on this update are listed below.
- INVOPRT:
- FIXED ISSUE WITH DOUBLE ADDRESS ON INVOICES.
- IVDI3:
- • NOT SHOWING IVM DATA – THE CHANGES MADE FOR STAND-ALONE CB&M CAUSED THE SEARCH RESULTS TO NOT SHOW THE APPROPRIATE DATA FROM IVM WHEN A PRODUCT HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE STORE’S INVENTORY.
- • CHANGED “SERIES” TO “GROUP” FOR BIBLES – FOR BIBLES, THE “SERIES” INFO IS ACTUALLY THE BIBLE GROUP NAME. FOR CLARITY THE LABEL HAS BEEN CHANGED TO “GROUP” WHEN LOOKING AT BIBLE PRODUCTS.
- IVE:
- UPDATED FOR VERSION 8.01/8.02.
- IVM:
- RECOGNIZE NEW OPTION – #4075 SUPPRESS PASSCODE PROMPT ON IVM.
- IVSO:
- PREVIOUS SPL ORDER ITEM # COMING UP ON THE NEXT SPL ORDER MADE IF THE 2ND ORDER ITEM ISN’T IN INVENTORY.
- PDAMULTI:
- CORRECTED A WARNING LABEL.
- POS:
- ERROR MESSAGE “SORRY, CAN’T FILE ORDER” MESSAGE WHEN CALLING POS FROM OE.
- SLTL:
- • RECOGNIZE NEW SYS CONFIG OPTION #4074 SUPPRESS PASSCODE PROMPT ON SLTL.
- • AUTOMATICALLY SUPPRESS PASSCODE PROMPT FOR SLTL WHEN CALLED FROM DAILY.
- SYS:
- • NEW OPTION – #4074 SUPPRESS PASSCODE PROMPT ON SLTL.
- • NEW OPTION – #4075 SUPPRESS PASSCODE PROMPT ON IVM.
- TUTOR:
- ADDED WINDOWS 10 DOCUMENTATION –
- BSMGR SCHEDULE IN WINDOWS 10 SCHEDULE TASKS;
