By adding the EZReceipts feature, you can build a relationship with your customer by providing them with receipts, store coupons, and other information they want. How is the done? When a customer comes into your store and they give you their email address for the first time, your system will automatically email a coupon for $5 off their next purchase. This is known as a bounce back coupon intended to bring them right back in the store. This package also offers email receipts which would send them a copy of their receipt and also suggests other products they can get in your store.

Unlike other marketing products, our Email Marketing package is designed to bring your customer into your store NOT drive them to a website that leaves you with little profit and does nothing to build your relationship with your customer.

Integration also removes the burden of handling the bad and bounced emails. This normally labor-intensive activity is automatically handled by the software to update your Mailing List program and remind your frontliners to request an updated email when your customer returns to the store. With this program, you can quickly send your entire inventory file to your iPhone and use it as a handheld scanner to quickly and easily scan your inventory. This is great for full inventory and cycle counting.


This is how it works… First, you tell Bookstore Manager if you’re counting the entire inventory or a partial. If you choose partial, it will ask if you want a particular category, department, or vendor. Once you choose this, it will send the file to your device and you’re ready to scan. When finished you simply click complete scan. At this point, the inventory counts are sent via the cloud back to Bookstore Manager Software and you’re given a variance report. That’s it!

EMV Readers Ready to Ship

EMV Readers are Ready to Ship!

Certifications are complete and the units have been tested in real store situations. We are now ready to begin shipping units.

While this is great news, we have more good news. Through our partnership with NPC processing we have been able to eliminate the EMV monthly fee for those stores we have set up with NPC. The only cost to these users, other than processing, will be the EMV Reader device since the ongoing monthly cost is eliminated. If you are with another processor the EMV monthly fee remains in effect. To get more information about NPC’s competitive rates, please reply to this email with that request.

To accelerate the process of certification it was necessary to change the EMV reader model to the PAX S300. Regretfully, this new reader is more expensive than the originally anticipated model. The tradeoff is that without the monthly fee (minimum of $15 per month), the new readers will be less costly over time and you will make up the difference in just a few months.

With the new hardware cost and the change in the monthly fees, we ask that you reenter your orders on our website. To place your order CLICK HERE. Below is a summary of the charges and fees.

An important distinction of the new device is that it has its own networking function. This means that instead of connecting each device to a PC, they are connected directly to your network using a CAT 5, 5e, 6, or 6A cable. If you do not already have an extra network cable available for each unit at your checkout station(s), you will need to either provide additional cable runs or add a switch or hub at the station so you can split the signal from your existing network cable used by your point-of-sale computer to share with the new reader(s). You may procure what is needed on your own, or you can contact us for assistance in identifying your needs and including it with your reader order.

Upon receiving your device, please contact our support team to activate the EMV configuration for your system. Remember you can place this request on the docket by utilizing the SPT feature by typing “SPT” at the Enter Program Name field. Once you complete the details and click submit, your request is automatically placed on the support docket.
